Two young engaged couples lost their lives in a road accident that occurred late yesterday evening in the locality of Ripe Rosse, in the Montecorice area, in the Salerno area .

The victims were from Capaccio: he was 29 years old and she was 24. They were traveling in a car that, after impacting with another vehicle, broke through the guardrail and fell about 200 meters down a cliff overlooking the sea.

The rescuers' intervention was in vain.
