A flight from the third floor , a two-year-old girl lives by a miracle and a father in prison on charges of attempted murder . These are the dramatic events that occurred in Fisciano, a city in the province of Salerno.

It was just after 9.30 on Sunday 30 October when the rescuers of the association "La Solidarity" received a request for intervention for a child who fell from the window of her home, on the third floor of a building in Corso San Vincenzo. When the rescuers arrived, the little girl was conscious, crying and frightened.

Then the quick transfer to the hospital, where the little girl was taken care of by the doctors of the Pediatric Surgery Department. The first tests made it possible to ascertain how the child was out of danger, then the hospitalization at the Santobono hospital in Naples for an operation on the humerus.

The face had several scratches, an element that suggests that the flight from the third floor may have been cushioned by an iron net that was not far from the point where the child was found.

In the meantime, in Corso San Vincenzo, a stone's throw from the Municipality of Fisciano, the carabinieri sifted through the house and the area where the baby fell . With the suspicions that fell on his father, then arrested in the evening and taken to prison in Salerno on charges of attempted murder.

The reconstruction and the dynamics are still unclear , but the 40-year-old's lawyer specifies: "The information, obviously very unofficial that we have collected, would seem to support the thesis of an accidental fall that obviously has to be verified".
