A two-year-old girl lost her life after being hit by a car while reversing near her home. The tragedy occurred yesterday evening in San Marzano di San Giuseppe, in the Taranto province.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred around 9:30 PM. The little girl was near her parents' home when a vehicle, reversing, struck and ran over her. The family is Moroccan, and the car was apparently driven by a fellow Moroccan. The man stopped to provide first aid and called 118.
