A two-month-old baby girl died in Desenzano del Garda hospital, in the province of Brescia.

The first report speaks of bronchiolitis, the respiratory tract infection which is peaking in Italy in recent weeks.

According to local newspapers, the little girl, daughter of a couple of Romanian origins who live in the province of Mantua, arrived at the hospital in desperate conditions and died in the pediatric ward.

For days, according to what has been reconstructed, the little girl had been experiencing breathing difficulties which worsened in a short period of time last Saturday . Tests have been arranged to confirm the diagnosis of the department doctors.
