Two and a half year old boy pushes himself into the water and drowns: tragedy at sea

A two and a half year old child drowned in Santa Severa , north center of Rome .

The tragedy occurred late in the morning today .

For reasons yet to be ascertained, the little boy, who was on the beach, pushed himself into the water , and drowned.

The intervention of the bathers intervened was of no use. 118 staff tried, unsuccessfully, to revive him.

The carabinieri investigate the matter to reconstruct the dynamics.
