The villa of Juventus player Douglas Luiz , on the first hill of Turin , was burgled last night .

The newspaper La Gazzetta dello sport online reported that the theft was discovered by the footballer upon his return from Juve-Lazio.

The police intervened on site around 1am, along with the scientific team to carry out the investigations.

It has been learned that more than ten of the footballer's watches and some valuables belonging to his partner, Alisha Lehmann, who is on the Juventus Women's training camp that will play Inter in Milan today, were stolen.

The value of the stolen items, along with some cash, is thought to be close to 500,000 euros.
