A 53-year-old man stabbed a lawyer in Oderzo, in the province of Treviso , inside her studio, and then committed suicide, by hanging himself, in his home in Mansuè.

The woman, Meri Zorz, is now hospitalized with a recovery prognosis of 30 days.

Wounded in the arms and upper body, she asked the manager of a nearby tobacconist's for help, then was rescued by an ambulance and treated in the emergency room. The client, Giuseppe Silvestrini, a nurse, apparently asked for an appointment to clarify some aspects related to an inheritance linked to the disappearance of his father a couple of months ago.

An asset substantially in real estate, to be shared with two brothers represented by a support administrator due to a family situation of fragility, and who live in a rustic house to which they had moved less than two years ago after the fire of their home. It is the same building where, shortly after the attack, the carabinieri went, finding the body of the wanted man on the upper floor now lifeless .
