There is also the former president of the Sardinia Region Christian Solinas among the beneficiaries of free travel aboard Tirrenia-Cin ships.

This is what emerges from the documents of the investigation into the ferry tickets given as gifts to officials of the port authority.

Solinas, not under investigation, would have traveled to go to the Genoa Boat Show in 2023. The list also includes the wife of the former governor, emerges from the investigation coordinated by the prosecutor Walter Cotugno. According to the investigators, the companies of the Onorato group would have given away, in six years, almost 34 thousand tickets. Evidence, for the prosecution, of an "impressive corruption mechanism", which involves "strategic" officials for the companies.

Among the beneficiaries are also the general commander Nicola Carlone and Roberto Isidori, deputy chief of staff of Matteo Salvini. But also the comedian Beppe Grillo and his son Ciro, who are also not under investigation. For the investigators, many of the tickets given were "unequivocally related" to preferential treatment.

Among the users belonging to the port authorities and law enforcement, two magistrates and public officials. Among the people investigated is also Achille Onorato who a few days ago availed himself of the right to remain silent before the prosecutor. No measures were requested for him.

In the main strand, which involves company leaders and employees and officials of the coast guard, the prosecutor has requested two house arrests and 11 interdictions. On Wednesday, the preliminary investigations judge Silvia Carpanini will finish the preventive interrogations and then decide whether to accept the requests of the prosecutor. The investigation has given rise to the second strand involving about forty people.
