Tragedy at a nursery: two-year-old boy suffocates to death

Tragedy struck a nursery school in Soci, in the province of Arezzo, where a two-year-old boy suffocated to death.

According to the reconstruction, the child may have gotten his jacket caught on a tree, accidentally suffocating. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, and the Pegaso air ambulance was also dispatched. Medical personnel attempted to revive him, but there was nothing they could do: he died in the nursery garden.

The Carabinieri of the Bibbiena branch are investigating the incident, gathering witness statements and reconstructing the facts. Meanwhile, the nursery has been sealed off, including the garden area where the child died. The magistrate on duty, Julia Maggiore, has conducted an inspection and ordered the search for evidence that will help reconstruct the circumstances and cause of death.
