Three bullet-riddled bodies found in a forest: they were all hunters

Three bodies were found in Montagnareale (Messina) , in a wooded area in the Caristia district. The report was made to the emergency number 112. According to initial reports, the bodies of three men were riddled with gunshot wounds .

The three had gone out hunting this morning . The Carabinieri and the magistrate on duty from the Patti Public Prosecutor's Office responded to the scene.

The three victims have been identified, but their identities have not been released. Montagnareale is a very small municipality in the northern Nebrodi Mountains of Messina, about a ten-minute drive from Patti.
