He threatened to set fire to the house of his ex-partner's parents and she, already a victim of stalking, called the police. The agents managed to surprise the man near the house, he had with him a 5-liter can of petrol, a baseball bat and a lighter : they arrested him.

The story comes from Asti. For some time now the stalker, known to the police, had become the protagonist of persecutory acts against his ex-girlfriend and she, hostage of fear, had been forced to leave her residence without reporting anything.

In recent days he called her on the phone, threatened to set a fire to the house of the young woman's parents. It was at that point that the victim notified 112 and the operations room of the Police Headquarters immediately sent a patrol to the scene. At that moment the stalker arrived: he had a wooden club of about 40 centimeters, a can full of petrol and a lighter; all the material was seized, he was arrested. In his possession, numerous short weapon ammunition and 3 marijuana plants were recovered during the searches.

A few days earlier, seized by a fit of jealousy following the woman's decision to leave him, he had forced the ex to get on board his car threatening anticonservative gestures, brandishing a knife, destroying her mobile phone and glasses until she got to cut her tires of two cars owned by her parents, hoping to convince her to retrace her steps.

Now the man is in prison, the arrest has been validated.
