The account was registered to a 70-year-old man from Lecce who died on March 30, 2025. It was managed by a 52-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man.

The latter two were the targets of a search carried out by the State Police on orders of the Rome Prosecutor's Office investigating the Facebook group "Mia Moglie," made up of thousands of users who shared and commented on images—often intimate—of women, referred to in the comments as wives or companions, likely published without the consent of the individuals portrayed.

The woman and the young man are believed to be the managers of the page, which was closed after a barrage of reports to the postal police.

During the searches, carried out by specialized operators from the Postal Police and Cybersecurity Service, the Bari COSC, and the Lecce SOSC, the computer devices were seized and will be analyzed to determine the responsibilities of the suspects.
