As far as we know, Benedetti had been very anxious in recent months about a 150,000 euro renovation project for a villa, entrusted to a Sardinian entrepreneur . The contract had been signed in 2021, the DJ had paid an advance of 70,000 euros, the rest was to be paid as the work progressed. The work was never completed, and in December the Court of Cagliari declared the judicial liquidation of the company .

The presenter, 53, had spoken several times to colleagues and friends, Corriere reports, about this situation.
