A 40-year-old worker is the victim of yet another accident at work in Gironico, a hamlet of Colverde, in the province of Como.

The man, according to what has been reconstructed, was working in an excavation about 3 meters deep , when, due to a road subsidence, he was buried.

Colleagues immediately intervened by giving the alarm and the 118 health workers and the fire brigade arrived on the spot. Any rescue was useless, the 40-year-old was already dead.

The prosecutor has launched an investigation into the tragedy, the carabinieri and Ats are carrying out the investigations.
