The Pope's announcement at the Angelus: "I have a nodule in my lung, I'm undergoing surgery."

"The doctors found an early, well-localized nodule on my lung. They believe it's necessary to intervene, and so, following their advice, I've decided to have surgery to remove it. The procedure is already scheduled for the next few days," the Pope announced at the Angelus.
