"We win together, and the League is and will be more united than ever," said League leader Matteo Salvini from the stage at the party's traditional rally in Pontida.
"The League has no masters and the League is not for sale. It's a thrill to see the flags, the Lion of St. Mark, the Italian tricolor, the flags of my Lombardy, Sicily, Sardinia, Friuli. Of all our regions that are our present and future," Salvini added.
"Tomorrow," the League secretary then announced, "I will convene the League's federal council and propose convening an extraordinary League congress in October to decide together and move forward as one."
