Today the G20 kicks off in Rome, the meeting of the great of the Earth that will also take place tomorrow. The capital is armored and there are many bilateral meetings scheduled between leaders and heads of government on the big issue: climate.

There is no shortage of protests: the police evacuated the demonstrators of the "Climate Camp" who had sat on the ground in via Cristoforo Colombo, blocking traffic towards the center.

For today the program includes: the welcome ceremony at 10, then the first session of the “Global Economy and Global Health; the event "Supporting SMEs and women-owned businesses to build forward better", and finally the cultural event at the Baths of Diocletian.

Not only very serious issues, however. Since yesterday, videos and photos have been circulating online that compare the facial expressions of Elisabetta Savigni Ullmann, the Italian translator of the White House. The images that are compared are those that portrayed her during Donald Trump's visit and the current one by Joe Biden. In the first case with a sulky expression, but also surprised and perhaps angry; in the second smiling and amused. In reality, even the "memes" of Pope Francis are circulating on social networks: during the meeting with the tycoon he was dark in the face, with the new tenant of the White House, however, definitely at ease.

Savigni Ullmann, of Leghorn origin, has lived in the United States since 1989 and has worked with many presidents, such as Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
