The four Italian parliamentarians, freed by Israeli authorities and part of the Flotilla, have arrived at Fiumicino Airport . Senator Marco Croatti (M5S), MEP Annalisa Corrado (PD), MP Arturo Scotto (PD), and MEP Benedetta Scuderi (AVS) arrived on a scheduled flight from Tel Aviv and disembarked at Terminal 3 at 2:10 PM.

Welcoming them at the Roman airport were Democratic Party secretary Elly Schlein, M5S senator Lorenzo Patuanelli, AVS spokesperson Angelo Bonelli, and Rome mayor Roberto Gualtieri.

"We're fine. Our thoughts now go to all the activists, so that they can be released as soon as possible," said Arturo Scotto as soon as he landed at Fiumicino.

"We are terribly worried about all the Italians remaining in the detention center. We've had a very difficult night, and now we need to bring everyone home, " said Marco Croatti.

The Italian ambassador said that "there was no mistreatment"

A total of 473 crew members of the Global Sumud Flotilla were arrested in international waters by Israeli forces . They were transferred to Saharonim prison in the Negev Desert, southern Israel.
