The Rome Labor Court has rejected the request presented by journalist Sigfrido Ranucci for reinstatement as host of the program Report .

The journalist, who had filed an urgent appeal against his removal from the program, was suspended from work by RAI for ten days yesterday.

A disciplinary measure that had sparked opposition from Ranucci's lawyer: "Just as the Rome Labor Court is ruling on Ranucci's precautionary appeal against his removal from Report, RAI has notified him of a new sanction. This decision comes just days after the presentation of detailed defenses, which challenged the merits and method of the charges made by RAI."
