Fear for the former president of Coni Gianni Petrucci, who was injured following a road accident.

It happened on Saturday afternoon, in Valmontone, near Rome.

According to what was reconstructed by the carabinieri, while traveling in the car with his wife, at a bend in the Colle Pereto area, Petrucci went off the road, ending up in a 7/8 meter cliff.

After the alarm, emergency services intervened on the spot: the former CONI number one was transported by air ambulance to the San Camillo hospital in the capital, while his wife was transported to the Tor Vergata hospital.

There would be no life-threatening danger.
