"I feel uneasy and oppressed." With these words, the 17-year-old from Paderno Dugnano (Milan) who murdered his family tried to explain the reasons for the fury with which he acted during the night between Saturday and Sunday.

The boy killed his father, mother and 12-year-old brother with stabs, before being stopped by the police and interrogated until he broke down and confessed.

From what has filtered out, he expressed to investigators a sense of alienation, not only in relation to his family - within which he felt like "a foreign body", but more generally towards society.

The young man reportedly cried for a long time and those who saw him during the interrogation said they found themselves in front of a "very fragile" boy.

In Paderno, those who know him – starting with his peers – refer to a “normal” young man, who had never shown signs of trouble or aggression.

The 17-year-old is now in the Beccaria first reception center in Milan awaiting the hearing to validate his arrest.
