A young man died in Pescara due to cardiac arrest after feeling unwell. According to initial information, the feeling of uneasiness would have occurred after the use of a taser by the Police, in the premises of the Police Headquarters of the Adriatic capital.

Rescued by 118, the boy - reportedly in his 30s - was taken to hospital, where he died, despite attempts to revive him.

At the moment, according to what we have learned, no confirmed correlation has emerged between the use of the taser and cardiac arrest.

Only the autopsy will be able to clarify what happened and the causes of death. The Pescara Prosecutor's Office is investigating the case.

The 30-year-old was taken to the police station apparently after being involved in a street fight. He was arrested for "resisting a public official." Hence the use of the taser.

Once taken to the waiting rooms to carry out the consequent judicial police actions, the 30-year-old however felt ill for which he was first treated on site by 118 and then taken to hospital for resuscitation procedures, which proved to be useless.
