The Brindisi Public Prosecutor's Office has opened a road homicide investigation following the death of Samantha Lacedonia, the 21-year-old who lost her life yesterday following an accident on the provincial road between Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica.
According to reports, the twenty-one-year-old had moved to the province of Brindisi a few days ago and yesterday would have been her first day working at a restaurant in Ostuni. At the time of the accident, she was on her way to work.
The young woman, originally from Bisceglie, was aboard a Fiat 500 that collided with a Mercedes driven by an 83-year-old.
The public prosecutor has ordered the seizure of the vehicles , and in the coming hours, unrepeatable technical tests may be ordered to determine the cause of the collision. The prosecutor's office has ordered the return of the body, and the funeral will be held on May 4th at 3:30 PM in Bisceglie. (Unioneonline)
