The circle is tightening around the mysterious "man on a bicycle" caught on camera – driving the wrong way – on the night of the killing of Sharon Verzeni , the 33-year-old from Terno d'Isola (Bergamo) stabbed to death while out for a walk by an as yet unnamed killer.

This was reported by Eco di Bergamo, underlining that this would be an "important step forward" in the investigation.

"The Carabinieri of the Bergamo Investigative Unit, coordinated by Deputy Prosecutor Emanuele Marchisio, have an idea of who the cyclist considered not so much the murderer as the key witness to the crime could be. They got there by meticulously analyzing the footage from the cameras: the clothes he was wearing, the model of bicycle, the movements, the details. Until they narrowed the circle, arriving at the name of a man: it could be him, but they are not yet certain. Who he is, whether Italian or foreign, whether he lives in Terno d'Isola or in nearby towns, is being kept in the strictest secrecy", writes the newspaper.

Nothing official from the investigators, with the investigation proceeding in the utmost secrecy. From what is filtering out, however, the man on the bike, despite the lead, has not yet been traced.

The same investigators are currently also analyzing the movements of the current account of

Sharon Verzeni, from which it would have emerged that payments were also made to Scientology, which the woman had approached since she had found work in a bar whose managers are part of the movement. This is one of the aspects taken into consideration in the investigation as rumors of friction between the woman and her partner Sergio Ruocco, who is not under investigation, had circulated.
