Moussa Sangare, the man accused of the murder of Sharon Verzeni – which occurred in Terno d'Isola (Bergamo) at the end of July – confirmed his statements already made when questioned today by investigating judge Raffaella Mascarino.

The 31-year-old Italian-Malian repeated that "there was no motive and - he added - I don't know why I did it."

Sangare, as reported by his lawyer Giacomo May, declared before the investigating judge that he left his house on the evening of the murder with a "feeling that I cannot explain" and that pushed him "to want to do harm".

He also revealed to investigators that in the days before the attack on the 33-year-old, who was stabbed during a night-time walk, he had also done a sort of "exercise" with a statue.

During the searches in his home immediately after his arrest, the police also found a template , perhaps also used for knife practice.
