He attacked a minor while she was jogging, then was identified and arrested for sexual assault. It happened in the Siena area, in a public park in Poggibonsi.

The arrested man is a 21-year-old Senegalese citizen who allegedly followed the girl on his bicycle, then grabbed her and threw her to the ground, attempting to sexually assault her. However, the young woman managed to break free and escape, reaching a Carabinieri station where she filed a report. Following the investigation and arrest, the 21-year-old was placed under house arrest by the court on charges of alleged sexual assault.

The incident occurred in broad daylight at the end of July, but after two months of investigation, the Carabinieri identified and arrested him. The 21-year-old Senegalese man was scheduled for a preliminary hearing yesterday, but it was postponed.

The 21-year-old is waiting for a residence permit for family reunification.
