Security guard picks up a rifle and shoots his wife: the woman is in serious condition

A 38-year-old security guard shot his 46-year-old wife with a rifle, and she is now hospitalized in serious condition.

It happened in Sant'Arcangelo Trimonte, in the province of Benevento, shortly after midday in the home of the two spouses.

The woman, apparently shot in the abdomen and side, was treated and taken to the hospital in the Sannio capital. The man was arrested by the Carabinieri, who are holding him in custody at the Benevento provincial headquarters, headed by Colonel Marco Keten.
