A 28-year-old middle school student in Castelnovo di Sotto (RE) is alleged to have sexually abused eight underage students, taking advantage of his role as a school assistant. The students, all under the age of 14, reported the incident after confiding in some teachers.
The man, who was immediately suspended from public service for a year , is currently under investigation for aggravated and repeated sexual assault . He has been placed under a precautionary measure requiring him to remain at home and prohibited from going out during the evenings, as requested by the Reggio Emilia Public Prosecutor's Office .
