It is the one sent by a 45-year-old from Gallura , who on January 10 had to fly urgently with an Air Force plane from Sardinia to Abruzzo , precisely to Chieti.

As reported by the local press, the 45-year-old was in her 26th week , pregnant with triplets and, since one of the girls was suffering, she was first admitted to the hospital in Sassari and then, after the emergency transfer, to the Santissima hospital . Annunziata of Chieti .

Here, on the evening of hospitalization, one of the twins is unable to make it, but the doctors, nurses and all the hospital staff begin to do their utmost to save the life of the other two . And so, after another four weeks, with a caesarean section, the woman gives birth to her little daughters , who immediately fought - said the mother - "like real warriors" . And she too fought, assisted and comforted in the Theatine hospital, after being hit by a hemorrhage .

Hard and difficult days, days of fear and apprehension, but which have passed in the vicinity of the affection of many people, including two elderly people from Chieti who, reading the news of the emergency transfer, decided to give the Sardinian couple all their support .

Now, finally back in Sardinia with her family , the 45-year-old, grateful for so much affection, professionalism and solidarity, wanted to pay homage, on the occasion of the Labor Day, " the medical and non-medical staff of the neonatal intensive care and obstetrics and gynecology departments who, throughout the period in which we were hospitalized, first me and then our girls, took care of us with dedication , showing that we are all, without exception, people who make their work a mission .
