A Sardinian farmer vanished ten days ago in Mulazzano, a hamlet of Coriano, a town in the Rimini province. Gian Gavino Chessa, originally from Ittiri, is 57 years old and lives alone. He is 172 cm tall, weighs approximately 80 kg, has shaved hair, dark eyes, and wears glasses.

His sister reported him missing, but having not seen him since April, she was unable to say what clothes he was wearing on the day he disappeared. After days of fruitless searches—the man has been missing since October 10th— the Rimini Prefecture released a recent photograph of the man yesterday, appealing to anyone who may have seen him to immediately contact the Coriano Carabinieri station.

A local farm worker, Chessa had been dropped off near his home on the day of his disappearance. He lives in an isolated farmhouse nestled in the Romagna hills . From where he was dropped off, he had to travel the final stretch of a bumpy road through a rugged terrain, but he never reached his destination.

Rescuers, using drones, helicopters, and dog units, searched fields and woods for the farmer, but found no trace of him. The search was suspended on Saturday, but the Prefecture released an image of the man yesterday in the hope of obtaining useful information.
