Several packs of tomini have been withdrawn from the market due to the risk of contamination by the Salmonella bacterium .

The latest withdrawal concerns "Il tomino del boscaiolo" from the Longo Dairy, but the alert concerns different products from the same lot but of different brands .

This is what we read on the Ministry of Health website which recommends, as a precaution, not to consume the products and return them to the point of purchase.

The Tomini affected by the latest withdrawal are produced by the company Caseificio Longo Srl, in the Rivarolo Canavese (Turin) plant and are sold in formats of 540 grams and one kilo, with the lot number 1074 and the expiry date 27/04 /2023 .

In recent days, the Penny Market, Esselunga, Bennet, Il Gigante, Carrefour, Prix, Coop and Tigros chains had signaled the recall of the same batch of tomini, sold under the brands Cuor di Terra, Caseificio Longo, Il Nonno Casaro, Percorsi di Gusto Primia, Fior Fiore Coop and Terre d'Italia .
