Regional elections: the center-left is on course for victory in Puglia and Campania. Veneto goes to the center-right.

Regional elections in Campania, Puglia, and Veneto : polls closed at 3:00 PM, and the counting of votes has begun. But the situation appears clear: in Campania, projections from the Consorzio Opinio Italia for RAI show center-left candidate Roberto Fico having a clear lead—with nearly 60%—over center-right challenger Edmondo Cirielli , with the former Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies thus on his way to victory.
The situation is even more eloquent in Puglia , where Antonio Decaro (centre-left) has a clear advantage over the centre-right candidate Luigi Lobuono , with almost 70%.
There is also a very wide margin in Veneto, where Alberto Stefani (centre-right) has a clear lead with over 60% over his centre-left challenger Giovanni Manildo.
Turnout dropped again: in Campania, 44% of eligible voters cast their ballots (compared to 55.5% in the previous elections), in Puglia, 41.8% (it was 56.4%), and in Veneto, 44.6% (61.1%).
