The carabiniere who was driving the last pursuing car, in the case of Ramy Elgaml's death, behaved correctly, he braked when he had to brake and the impact between the car and the scooter did not occur at the end of the chase, but earlier and was lateral.

This is, in short, the content of the cinematic consultancy ordered by the Milan prosecutor's office to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident, which occurred at the end of a chase with the carabinieri , which cost the life – last December – of the young man of Egyptian origin.

The report essentially blames Ramy's friend who was driving the scooter, Fares Bouzidi, for the accident.

The report, signed by the engineer Domenico Romaniello, in fact totally excludes the hypothesis of a voluntary ramming . Fares is investigated for road homicide together with the carabiniere who was leading the patrol that followed the scooter, after the latter had not stopped at a roadblock.

According to the reconstruction, the scooter driven by Fares lost traction between Viale Ripamonti and Via Quaranta while trying to turn left and the police car, very close to the motorcycle, braked anyway. Both vehicles then crashed more or less near a traffic light pole. Ramy died because he ended up against that pole.

Fares' defense has said it is ready to challenge the results of this consultation in any way, with its own experts, as will the lawyers of Ramy's family.
