No to the abolition of the Super green pass on March 31st.
This was stated by the virologist of the State of Milan Fabrizio Pregliasco, guest of 'A sheep's day' on Rai Radio 1.
The enhanced certification, obtainable only through vaccine or healing, "must be removed but not on March 31, let's do it progressively, perhaps at the end of April or May, seeing how things will go".
The reason? "Now there is a new variant involved, Omicron 2, more contagious but no more dangerous than the first". A mutation that “is also doing a good job, infecting many people who are all vaccinated, who therefore don't have big problems, will make many people immune, at least for a while”.
Pregliasco also spoke of the protection provided by the third dose: “Six months later there is a percentage reduction, but a good protective capacity against serious illness remains. I do not think a fourth dose for everyone is sustainable, also because the data from Israel do not give us good feedback in this sense, while the fourth dose is certainly necessary for the super fragile ".
