Pier Silvio Berlusconi was involved in a violent car accident.
Yesterday evening, while returning home from his office in Cologno Monzese, the entrepreneur was involved in a crash between Villasanta and Arcore : according to reports , a car coming from the opposite lane lost control while accelerating, invading the carriageway and ending up in the opposite direction.
The impact, which was essentially head-on, destroyed the front end of the vehicle and deployed all the airbags. Pier Silvio Berlusconi, thanks in part to his seat belt, escaped virtually unharmed.
The rescuers who arrived on the scene subjected him to initial medical checks, but Berlusconi reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
His condition is such that there are no changes to his scheduled commitments today, starting with this evening's celebration of the third anniversary of the passing of his father, Silvio Berlusconi, at the Mediaset headquarters and involving all the Group's employees.
