This was stated by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi , questioned on the sidelines of the Rimini Meeting following the eviction of the Leoncavallo social centre in Milan.

When asked about his government colleague Alessandro Giuli's claim that the CasaPound building might not need to be evicted "if it's legal," the minister explains: "I think he said that if it's legalized in some way, it might not need to be evicted . It's already happened in other centers; the city of Rome even bought facilities to legalize them; it's happened in other cities too."
