Deputy Prosecutor Eugenio Fusco and Public Prosecutor Cristian Barilli have requested a one-year and eight-month sentence for Chiara Ferragni , who is accused, along with two others, in the Milanese summary trial for aggravated fraud related to the alleged misleading advertising of Pandoro Pink Christmas and Easter eggs.

According to prosecutors, during investigations by the Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Police), between 2021 and 2022, he allegedly defrauded followers and consumers with alleged unfair profits—related to the sales of the two products, the price of which, however, did not include the advertised charity—of approximately 2.2 million euros.

The influencer has always denied the accusations: "Everything we did, we did in good faith, none of us profited," she said in court , reconstructing the facts, recounting her career, and also recalling some of her past charitable work . "I'm confident, I can't add anything else," she later added, speaking to reporters as she left the Palace of Justice.

The entrepreneur is being represented by lawyers Giuseppe Iannaccone and Marcello Bana. The defense will deliver its closing arguments at the next hearing on December 19th, and the verdict is expected in January. According to her lawyers, Ferragni has not committed any crime, has already closed the administrative proceedings, and has made donations totaling €3.4 million.

Today the prosecutors also requested a one-year sentence for Francesco Cannillo , president of Cerealitalia-ID, and a year and eight months for Fabio Damato , Chiara Ferragni's former collaborator.

Meanwhile, the civil action filed by the association 'La casa del Consumo' has been admitted, but the compensation request has not yet been quantified, explained Aniello Chianese, the association's lawyer, emphasizing that "there are consumers who have been defrauded."
