A fire broke out overnight at a fast food restaurant on Via Paolo Orlando in Ostia. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Firefighters and police, along with forensic scientists, arrived on the scene immediately to conduct investigations.

According to firefighters, the flames broke out in a utility room inside the fast food restaurant. No injuries were reported.

As a precaution, however, two adjacent buildings containing approximately 50 people were temporarily evacuated, who were then allowed to return at the end of the operation. The cause of the fire is still unclear. Investigators from the Lido police station are investigating the incident.
