An 18-year-old is hospitalized in serious condition after being stabbed twice while with friends in Naples, on Via Bisignano, in the Chiaia district.

According to initial investigations carried out by the Carabinieri of the operational unit, the boy, while walking with friends, was approached by some unknown men riding scooters and was then stabbed twice in the left stomach and left side.

The victim was immediately treated by 118 emergency personnel and then transferred to San Paolo Hospital. He underwent emergency surgery and remains in intensive care.

The Carabinieri of the Naples Central Company's operational unit and those of the Chiaia station are investigating.
