The judges of the Bergamo Assize Court have sentenced Moussa Sangare to life imprisonment, accused of the murder of Sharon Verzeni , 33 years old, stabbed to death on the night between 29 and 30 July 2024 in Terno d'Isola .

In his closing statement, the prosecutor emphasized the "cowardice" of the defendant, who, in addition to killing the 33-year-old, was convicted of mistreating her mother and sister. "Always women," the prosecutor stated. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the Verzeni crime "matured through boredom" in the defendant's life, who "taken pleasure in killing a girl walking down the street, a girl who was building her life with her partner." According to the prosecution, Sangare, that evening, "had sensed the terrain and had chosen the most defenseless person he could find to kill."

Hence the request for the maximum sentence, accepted by the Court.
