Murder in Villatora, in the municipality of Saonara, in the province of Padua . Initial reports suggest a man suffocated his elderly mother-in-law, with whom he lived.

At the time of the crime, the two were alone in the house. The Carabinieri and the prosecutor Marco Brusegan arrived at the scene.

The victim is a 97-year-old woman with multiple medical conditions . She was being cared for by her daughter and son-in-law, who is in his seventies.

Apparently, the man suffocated her by placing a bag over her head. Arrest operations are underway for the seventy-year-old, who will be taken to prison.
