MP Emanuele Pozzolo, elected with the Brothers of Italy party but recently joined Vannacci's National Future party, was involved in an accident on the highway connecting Biella to Vigliano.
The accident occurred yesterday afternoon. The MP lost control of his Mercedes and went off the road. Fortunately, Pozzolo, who was alone in the vehicle, was able to get out on his own and did not suffer serious injuries.
Firefighters, emergency medical services and law enforcement officers arrived on site and subjected the MP to a breathalyzer test, which revealed a blood alcohol level double the legal limit .
Pozzolo hit the headlines on New Year's Eve 2024, when he was shot in the leg by an attendee at a party at the Pro Loco tourist office in Rosazza, in the Biella province. The gun was brought by the MP, who received a suspended 15-month sentence for illegal possession of a firearm for that incident .
