A life interrupted at just 25 years old.

Antonio Grasso, a penitentiary police officer in Bancali, died in Caltagirone, Sicily, during the night between Friday and Saturday last, a few meters from his home.

The policeman was in fact Sicilian and had been serving for some time in the Gom (mobile operations group) of the Sassari prison even though he had recently obtained a transfer to Lombardy.

According to an initial reconstruction, the 25-year-old, for reasons currently being investigated, crashed aboard a Kawasaki 600 cc into a concrete wall on the road. Hospitalized, he unfortunately lost his life due to the multiple traumas he suffered.

Everyone remembers him, even among his colleagues at the Sassari facility, as a sunny, extroverted and correct person.
