The 21-year-old driver of the Porsche Spyder who crashed into several parked cars in central Milan at dawn did not make it.

The young man had been transported to the Policlinico hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery, but died shortly afterwards.

The accident occurred around 6am in Corso di Porta Vercellina.

Two girls, aged 19 and 20, were also injured in the crash and were taken to Fatebenefratelli Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
