They shared intimate photos of their wives without asking their consent. At least 32,000 men were involved in a Facebook group called "My Wife," which was deleted by Meta after hundreds of reports and complaints to the Postal Police.

The first complaint came on Instagram from the “no justice no peace” page, which has been campaigning against violence for months: “Over 32,000 men have created a Facebook group where they share intimate photos of their wives without their consent , seeking approval and complicity in this violence.”

Since the complaint, the group has been filled with comments from people outraged by the sharing of intimate photos of women: women sunbathing in their swimsuits, cooking, or relaxing on the couch. "This," writes No Justice No Peace, "is a blatant form of abuse, nonconsensual pornography, and systemic misogyny."

Meta's statement arrived shortly after: "We removed the group for violating our policies against the sexual exploitation of adults. We do not allow content that threatens or promotes sexual violence, sexual abuse, or sexual exploitation on our platforms. If we become aware of content that incites or advocates rape, we may disable the groups and accounts posting it and share this information with law enforcement."
