New accident for a bus in Mestre, in via Carducci: the bus, an electric vehicle hit a pillar of a house after the driver lost control of the vehicle and crossed the road. The driver was injured in the accident, while fourteen passengers suffered minor bruises.
The vehicle belongs to the "La Linea" company, the same as the bus that crashed from the overpass last week causing 21 deaths. The bus covered the route served in the past by bus number 13 in Mestre on behalf of the Municipality of Venice.
According to what was learned, the bus suddenly deviated from its lane and ended up against a pylon. Avm, the management company of urban transport routes, has announced that from Monday it will precautionally suspend the service of all 'La Linea' buses, replacing them with its own vehicles.
