About thirty young people responsible for the harassment reported by a dozen Lombard girls who had boarded the Verona-Milan regional train in Peschiera del Garda (Verona) at the end of a day spent in Gardaland on 2 June. Five of them filed a complaint with the Milan railway police.

In some videos published on social networks, groups of young people are seen invading the platforms of the station, but in the complaint the victims spoke of assaults and harassment while the train was blocked by activating the emergency brake.

"We are investigating all the facts that may have criminal results", Carlo Bartelli, manager of the Mobile Squad of the Verona Police Headquarters, told Ansa, specifying that "we are proceeding with a reconstruction of the events that took place on Thursday on the beach, in the town Peschiera del Garda and on the train; the investigations are in progress and will continue ".

THE FACTS - The balance of what happened on 2 June on the shores of Lake Garda, between Peschiera and Castelnuovo, at the meeting called via TikTok with over two thousand young people , is still provisional: riots, vandalism, assaults, even a big fight with dozens of young people already identified.

The police were also forced to carry out some charges in riot gear , to restore order and disperse the most violent. There is a concrete suspicion that some of the participants in the gathering were responsible for the sexual harassment suffered by minors who on June 2 were on board the 2640 regional train that was to take them from Peschiera del Garda in the late afternoon to Milan. At the station there were hundreds of boys running and screaming . Then once on the train came the harassment.

"We were surrounded - tell the girls - The heat was suffocating, some of us fainted. While we were looking for a controller, struggling along the wagons," some boys "laughed. They told us 'white women don't go up here'". While they were being harassed, they called their parents and not the police for fear of being beaten . "We called 112 - the parents now underline - but no one intervened".

That the violence is the work of young people who were at the meeting, for the mayor of Castelnuovo del Garda, Giovanni Dal Cero, is a certainty. "The perpetrators of the attacks were most likely, indeed certainly, part of the group of young people who were the protagonists of the maxirissa". "In Gardaland - he reconstructs - there was a full house. The girls certainly took the shuttle from the amusement park to the station on their return. Dozens of drunk and out of control boys got on their own train, who had taken part to the brawl ".
