A new, heavy sentence has been handed down to Massimiliano Mulas, the Sardinian immigrant implicated in several very serious incidents that have led to investigations in Piedmont and Veneto. Judges at the Cuneo Court have sentenced Mulas to 11 years in prison for sexual assault on a minor, robbery, and domestic violence.
The 46-year-old man was found responsible for several incidents involving two girls aged 11 and 14, who fortunately escaped the man's sexual assault. According to the indictment, Mulas had also stolen a few dozen euros from one of the victims. Carabinieri officers in Cervere, in the province of Cuneo, reportedly found evidence of attempted child grooming, including online.
Mulas was sentenced a few months ago in Venice to 14 years in prison for the rape of a teenager in Mestre. Massiliano Mulas was born in Germany to Sardinian parents and has always lived on the Italian mainland. For two years, he lived in Tempio, in his mother's house (who worked in Gallura).
