He and an accomplice had broken into an apartment in Lonate Pozzolo (Varese) to rob it, but was stabbed by the owner and died in the hospital. The victim was a 37-year-old man from a nomadic family. The owner of the house, who was also kicked and punched, was also injured and is in the hospital.

According to the Varese Carabinieri, at 11 a.m., two men broke into the house after forcing open the door. The owner, however, was inside. A fight ensued, with the homeowner receiving several punches in the face and stabbing one of the robbers.

At that point, the injured man and his accomplice quickly fled in a car driven by a third accomplice, who was waiting for them outside. The 37-year-old, in critical condition, was left by his companions in front of the Magenta hospital, where he received immediate medical attention and died shortly thereafter . The investigation into the incident, coordinated by the Busto Arsizio Public Prosecutor's Office, is being conducted by personnel from the Busto Arsizio Carabinieri Company and the Varese Investigative Unit.
