Drugged and robbed at age 68 by a woman he met on a dating site where she pretended to be "Francesca," a professional chef capable of preparing high-end dinners.

It happened on the evening of February 6th in Venaria Reale , in the Turin area, where two people were arrested by the Carabinieri.

The 68-year-old victim of the robbery was robbed of a watch, €10,000, documents, and credit cards. He was found drugged in his bedroom by emergency personnel who alerted the police.

The investigations then allowed the entire affair to be reconstructed, which led to the arrest of a couple living in the Alessandria area: a 49-year-old woman and her 63-year-old partner.

What betrayed the "chef" was a pot of spaghetti that investigators found on the kitchen table. Upon analysis, traces of benzodiazepines were discovered. It was this correlation, combined with the fact that the woman boasted online about being a top-class chef, that allowed investigators to piece together what happened.

The local cameras and the tracking of payments made in various shops were then used to ascertain the complicity of the partner.

The house searches allowed the Carabinieri of the Venaria operational unit to recover €8,000 in cash, psychotropic drugs (which the partner was responsible for procuring), the victim's stolen goods, and fake phones registered to a front man to evade security checks, as well as a manuscript containing a detailed list of targeted targets.

Furthermore, analysis of video surveillance systems allowed the woman's health to be refuted, as she claimed to suffer from a debilitating disease that had left her wheelchair-bound. This serious medical condition was revealed by the cameras that filmed her fleeing on foot with the stolen goods after the robbery.
